Inuit Carvings

 
 

These carvings are a wonderful record of culture in the Artic regions.  All are made by Natives, with stone that is quarried in their respective locales.  The soapstone  is colored by the various minerals in the earth that make each piece so distinctive  The joyful dancing bears of the Inuit will bring a smile to your face whenever you see them cavorting around on the ice.
